The North Devon town of Barnstaple has had two greyhound tracks in the past with the earliest being on the United Services Ground on Pottington Road and situated at 4° 4' W 51° 4' N. The first meeting was held in 1931, with sprints taking place over 275 yards, and longer tests over 375 yards. |
